Katya Krasnova is a Ukrainian-born artist based in Los Angeles whose multidisciplinary practice spans painting, ceramics and tattooing. 

Her work is centred around a recurring cast of figures that inhabit a space between innocence and experience, tenderness and unease. Characterised by blank expressions and quiet psychological intensity, these protagonists resist fixed narratives and instead invite projection, memory and interpretation. Through a restrained and highly distilled visual language, Krasnova examines the complexities of adolescence, vulnerability and emotional transition. Her works exist in a state of deliberate ambiguity, where subtle humour and melancholy intertwine and where multiple emotional registers coexist simultaneously.

Whether in paint, clay or ink, each medium contributes to the construction of a shared universe one that feels deeply personal while remaining universally recognisable.
