Beiqiqi

Beiqiqi is a Chinese painter whose practice explores the psychological and emotional complexities of intimacy, identity, and the body.

Working in a highly painterly visual language, she constructs surreal domestic interiors in which human figures intertwine, merge, and dissolve into one another. These entangled bodies become metaphors for the fragile balance between individual isolation and the longing for human connection.

Rather than illustrating specific narratives, Beiqiqi creates psychologically charged spaces that invite viewers to reflect on the porous boundaries between self and other. Her paintings examine the contradictions of intimacy, revealing the human condition as a continual negotiation between closeness and estrangement. Artworks and commission orders upon request: inquiries@circleofnone.com
